Staff Meeting

Decepticon activity has been negligible recently. I can only believe this means that they are planning something big!
*pauses and checks his datapad*
Therefore I am upping the daily patrols to four times a day. We can't be too careful! They will attack when we are least prepared so I am ensuring that we are prepared.

Does anyone have any questions or anything to add?

Bored out of his processor, Blaster leans back in his chair, half an audio on the communication channels he was monitoring. Mostly he was concentrating on reading the small music magazine Spike had picked up for him.
As soon as he heard the sound, he nearly fell out of the chair. Magazine forgotten, he concentrated on the transmission.
"Hey, I'm picking something up here!" He sounded the general alarm, bringing all Autobots in the vicinity to the Communications room.

A Cybertronian shuttle lands at Autobot Headquarters...

It's New Recruit Day! That's right, folks, today is the day to welcome a pack of newbies fresh from Cybertron. The shuttles engines wind down and the cargo doors hiss open, giving the dozen-or-so mechs inside their first glimpse of Earth.

A whoop and a roar of finely-tuned turbines are the Earth contingent's first impression of their new comrades in arms, as a red sports car emblazoned with flames leaps from the inner hold. The new Autobot flashes over the dirt and pulls a full 360 before transforming, revealing a lithe, bright-opticked young recruit who bestows his audience with a brilliant grin.

"Hey, I'm Hot- oop-" Unfortunately, Earth's gravity is slightly heavier than Cybertron's, and he didn't bother to adjust his systems to compensate. Long story short, he falls right on his aft.

It doesn't seem to faze him, though. "-Rod. Hot Rod. Nice to meet you."

Flyby

Curious as to where Skywarp and Thundercracker have been lately, Starscream does a recce flight around likely areas to see what his erstwhile wingmates have been doing - and, more specifically, why they've taken to ignoring his communication hails of late.

"What on Cybertron have those two fools been up to?"

The Scene: Red Alert is in his office, monitoring the... monitors... a knock at the door signals the arrival of Star Runner, who is concerned about the amount of time Red has been cooped up in his office. Kickback is playing around with datapads in the background. Then...

*Skywarp warps in behind Red*

BOOWAAA-LALALALALA-LAAAAA! HAHAHAA!!

*warps out again*

The scream of surprise that reverberated around the Ark stopped everyone in their tracks.
